JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will support the implementation and development of clinical studies involving psychoactive substances in healthy volunteers within an FIS-funded research project. Responsibilities will include assisting the Principal Investigator during study sessions, conducting and recording clinical and pharmacological assessments, managing study data and contributing to the analysis of results and preparation of scientific communications.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participation in the preparation and set-up of the studies within the FIS-funded project, including the development of case report forms (CRFs).
  • Support for the Principal Investigator during study sessions, contributing to logistical coordination and compliance with established procedures.
  • Conducting and recording clinical and pharmacological assessments, including the administration of subjective effects questionnaires, collection of vital signs and documentation of adverse events during study sessions.
  • Management and cleaning of databases, including quality control of the information collected.
  • Participation in the analysis and interpretation of pharmacological, pharmacokinetic and clinical results.
  • Contribution to the preparation of scientific communications related to the project.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in clinical studies involving psychoactive substances in healthy volunteers.
  • Master’s degree in Pharmacology, with knowledge of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and toxicology.

WHAT WE OFFER

a) Permanent contract under Science Law 14/2011, part-time (23 hours per week).
b) Expected start date: October/November.
c) Gross annual salary: €17,404.44.
d) The gross annual remuneration associated with the position covered by this call will be determined according to the candidate’s experience and skills and will be paid in 12 instalments.
e) 23 working days of annual leave and 5 personal leave days.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
