DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OCUPACIÓN
L’Institut de Recerca Germans Trias i Pujol, necessita incorporar una persona per a desenvolupar les funcions de direcció d’estudis sota Bones Pràctiques de Laboratori (BPL), al CMCiB. Concretament estudis preclínics en l’àmbit de la validació de dispositius mèdics-quirúrgics amb model animal gran.
FUNCIONES
  • Desenvolupar tasques de suport a la recerca, atenent a totes les seccions del CMCiB segons necessitats de cada moment.
  • Contribuir al disseny experimental dels estudis a realitzar.
  • Interaccionar amb els promotors dels estudis.
  • Coordinar i fer el seguiment de les fases delegades dels estudis.
  • Assegurar el correcte subministrament dels sistemes experimentals i materials, a fi de complir les especificacions del protocol.
  • Assegurar la distribució de la informació, i la formació específica de l’estudi, a tot el personal involucrat.
  • Assegurar que el departament de qualitat té la documentació necessària en temps i forma.
  • Documentar adequadament l’estudi segons les bones pràctiques de laboratori, assegurant l’adequada distribució, aprovació del protocol i registre de les incidències i desviacions.
  • Estar disponible per atendre incidències dels estudis incloent caps de setmana i festius. 
  • Assegurar que els procediments especificats a l’estudi es compleixen estrictament i es registren les possibles incidències i les accions correctives.
  • Assegurar que totes les dades originals de l’estudi estan ben documentades i enregistrades.
  • Recopilar i organitzar totes les dades primàries relacionades amb cada estudi.
  • Elaborar l’informe final d’estudi, i reportar-lo adequadament a la unitat de garantia de qualitat, juntament amb les dades primàries relacionades.
SE REQUIERE
  • Llicenciatura o máster en l’àmbit de les ciències de la vida.
  • Experiència mínima de 3 anys dirigint estudis pre-clínics BPL amb models animals.
  • Es valorarà experiència en recerca pre-clínica amb grans animals, i tenir l’acreditació com a Investigador usuari de models animals.
  • Disposició per a treballar en equip, fent tasques d’atenció i assessorament als investigadors i als projectes del centre.
  • Capacitat organitzativa i de gestió, habilitats de lideratge i de comunicació tan oral com escrita.
  • Acreditar un bon nivell d’anglès parlat i escrit.
SE OFRECE
  1. Contracte indefinit (Llei de la Ciència 17/2022).

  4. Les retribucions brutes anuals inherents a la plaça objecte de la present convocatòria, seran fixades en funció de l'experiència aportada i les aptituds de la persona candidata, distribuïdes en 12 pagues.

El Instituto de Investigación Germans Trias i Pujol (IGTP) es un centro de investigación público situado en Badalona (Barcelonés) que tiene como objetivo principal incrementar el conocimiento científico para transformarlo en soluciones para mejorar la salud y atención médica de los pacientes y de la comunidad.

El Instituto está asociado a uno de los grandes hospitales universitarios del área de Barcelona, el Hospital Germans Trias y Pujol, y forma parte del campus biomédico de Can Ruti. Es un centro CERCA y también está acreditado como centro de excelencia por el Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII), siendo el encargado de coordinar la gestión de la investigación y la estrategia científica del campus, trabajando en estrecha colaboración con los otros centros que se ubican en el mismo.

El Instituto de Investigación Germans Trias i Pujol lleva a cabo la investigación en 9 áreas:

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is seeking to hire a professional to perform the functions of Study Director under Good Laboratory Practices (GLP/BPL) at the CMCiB. Specifically, the position involves managing preclinical studies in the field of validation of medical-surgical devices using large animal models.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out research support tasks, attending to all CMCiB sections according to operational needs.
  • Contribute to the experimental design of the planned studies.
  • Interact with study sponsors.
  • Coordinate and monitor delegated study phases.
  • Ensure proper supply of experimental systems and materials to meet protocol specifications.
  • Ensure the distribution of study-related information and specific training to all involved personnel.
  • Ensure that the Quality Department receives the required documentation in due time and form.
  • Properly document the study according to Good Laboratory Practices, ensuring correct distribution, protocol approval, and registration of incidents and deviations.
  • Be available to address study-related issues, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Ensure that all specified study procedures are strictly followed and that any incidents and corrective actions are properly recorded.
  • Ensure that all original study data are well documented and archived.
  • Collect and organize all primary data related to each study.
  • Prepare the final study report and submit it appropriately to the Quality Assurance Unit, together with the related primary data.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience directing GLP preclinical studies with animal models.
  • Experience in preclinical research with large animals will be valued, as well as holding accreditation as an Animal Model Researcher.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, providing guidance and support to researchers and centre projects.
  • Strong organizational and management skills, leadership abilities, and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a good level of spoken and written English.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
