JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the international project: “A step forward for unravelling the immune mechanisms and tools for tuberculosis spectrum management – TB-SPECTRUM. HORIZON-MSCA-2024-SE-01.

” in the research group of Innovation in Respiratory Infections and Tuberculosis, from the Institut d’Investigació Germans Trias i Pujol.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the coordinator in the following activities: preparing scientific reports; communicating activities; monitoring the scientific project; coordinating activities between the consortium partners; monitoring the secondments; managing the budget; monitoring ethics issues; and helping in the organization of symposiums and consortium meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
  • Degree in a Bioscience-related discipline
  • PhD studies in sciences
  • Previous participation in international research consortiums from MSCA program 
  • Proven experience with issues related to microbiology and tuberculosis laboratory research 
  • Experience with data repository management (i.e. REDCap)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good knowledge of English 
  • Flexible attitude to work and with minimum supervision
  • Availability to travel

  • Full-time (1628h)
  • The period is starting: January 1st 2026
  • The annual remuneration inherent in the position that is the subject of this call will be set based on the experience provided and the aptitudes of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.
  • Flexible payment (childminding vouchers).
  • 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters + 2 days for Easter + 2 for Christmas.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.

The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus. IGTP is a CERCA centre and is also accredited as a centre of excellence by the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (ISCIII) and is in charge of coordinating the management and scientific strategy of the campus, working in close collaboration with the other centres.
