JOB DESCRIPTION
The Research in Kidney Affecting Diseases Group (REMAR) is seeking for a support researcher technician for a short-term project based on EV characterization by Flow cytometry.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate will be in charge of developing and optimizing the characterization of Extracellular vesicles of biological fluids and cell culture using flow cytometrytechniques. That involves cell culture of cell lines, processing of human biological fluids(mostly urine), EV isolation by size exclusion chromatography and setting up a labellingand read-out of the EV phenotype by Flow cytometry (using Aurora cytometer, Cytek,or Symphony cytometer, BD)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
  • Bachelor and master in biochemical or chemical sciences
  • Fluent and English is compulsory, Spanish and or Catalan knowledge would
  • be appreciated
  • Basic knowledge in extracellular vesicles isolation and characterization techniques from biological fluids and MSC cell culture, as well as flow cytometry advanced skills in the context of Nanomedicine
  • Team work skills are a must
  • Previous experience in research after the MSc is highly valued
  • Scientific Writing and presentation skills will be highly valued

  • Gross remuneration of 20.600€/year distributed in 12 payments
  • Gross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.
