JOB DESCRIPTION
The IGTP needs to incorporate a Research Assistant in Multiple Sclerosis, in the MS-Neuroimmunology Unit.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on meeting the milestones and objectives of the RICORS´s Program (Redes de Investigación Cooperativa Orientadas al Resultado en Salud (RICORS), de la convocatoria 2024 de la Acción Estratégica en Salud 2021-2023). RD24/0007/0002.
  • Management of biomedical databases (clinical and laboratory parameters).
  • Collect, organize, and analyze clinical and laboratory data from different research centers within the REI network.
  • Manage databases related to ongoing studies, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of the information.
  • Participate in clinical and translational studies related to multiple sclerosis. 
  • Collaborate in the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials, ensuring compliance with established protocols and ethical standards. 
  • Work closely with researchers from various disciplines, both within RICORS and with other national and international research groups. 
  • Participate in coordination and project follow-up meetings, contributing ideas and innovative solutions. 
  • Contribute to the writing of scientific articles, research reports, and presentations for conferences and symposia. 
  • Collaborate in disseminating results through publications in specialized journals and other academic outlets. 
  • Participate in the training of other team members and the education of medical personnel on topics related to MS and related diseases. 
  • Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, and other educational events for healthcare professionals and students. 
  • Support the coordination and follow-up of multicenter research projects, ensuring that objectives and deadlines are met. 
  • Collaborate in the administrative management of projects, including the preparation of reports and communication with funders.  
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE
  • Degree in Medicine. 
  • Have completed the resident medical intern program in neurology. 
  • Experience in projects involving interaction between clinicians and basic researchers will be positively considered. 
  • English medium-high level. 
  • Spanish high level.

  • Incorporation on January 1, 2025 
  • The gross annual remuneration will be set based on the amount awarded and the salary tables of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III, distributed in 12 payments. 
  • Flexible payment (childminding vouchers). 
  • 23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters +2 days for Easter + 2 days for Christmas. 
  • Training capsules by the company.

The Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona. Its main objective is to increase scientific knowledge in order to transform it into solutions to improve the health and medical care of patients and the community.

The Institute is associated with one of the major university hospitals in the Barcelona area, the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, and is part of the Can Ruti biomedical campus.
